1

Use Warm Colored Eyeshadows

You want to try to stay away from blue eyeshadow when you have blue eyes, because too much of anything (even a beautiful color) is never a good thing. You'll look much better wearing warm colors like brown and copper. Unfortunately, brighter colors will make your eyes look dull, so you don't want to wear them as often. Warm colors are your best bet, because they'll make your eyes pop even more than they normally do.

2

Don’t Make Thick Lines with Your Eyeliner

Blue eyes are naturally gorgeous, so you really don't need to add much makeup to them. That's why you should resist layering on too much eyeliner. You don't want everyone to be so distracted by the designs you applied to your eyes that they ignore the beauty of your eye color.

3

Apply Bronzer in the Right Areas

You can make your eyes shine just by applying bronzer in all the right spots. Try placing it where the sun would normally hit your face, like on your forehead and on the bridge of your nose. That way, you'll look amazing in any lighting that you step into throughout the day.

4

Use Brown Mascara, Not Black

If you're a blue eyed lady who also happens to be pale, you should stay away from colors that are too dark. Instead of using black eyeshadow, liner, and mascara, you should try using brown or grey. Even though the shade is only a tiny bit lighter, it can make a world of a difference.

5

Wear a Natural Lip Color

You want your blue eyes to draw attention. That's why you shouldn't forget your mascara. It'll make your lashes look long and thick, which will make others stare. However, you should go easy on your other makeup, like your lipstick. You don't want anyone to be too distracted by your lip color to notice your beautiful blue eyes.

Place Concealer under Your Eyes

You might be weary of drawing attention to your eyes if there are always bags beneath them. However, it's easy to fix that problem. All you have to do is place a bit of concealer right below your eyes to get rid of any dark circles that are there. Then you can feel confident again!

7

Avoid Black Smokey Eyes

Smokey eyes look amazing, no matter what color eyes you have. However, since you want to stick to a warm color palate, try creating a smokey eye with browns and golds instead of blacks. If you're feeling super bold, you can even try using purple, but remember to avoid blue.

Blue eyes are an amazing feature to have, so you should try to draw attention to them. After all, they're a part of your natural beauty that you should be proud to flaunt. How do you usually do your makeup in the morning?

You should just stick to what you like on yourself. Heck, wear the blue eyeshadow if you want to!

Natural lip? Heck no! I want red

red lips definitely make my eye color stand out 👌🏼 but it also highlights how pale I am. 😒 but I much prefer black mascara to brown.

I find dark eyeliner makes my light blue eyes look even brighter. Black smokey eye and dark liner are wonderful!

I have blue eyes and I wear any colours. I don't agree with staying away from certain colours, why should one eye colour have more fun experimenting with colours than the other. I say throw away the rule book and wear what you like,

I personally disagree. It may just be by colouring and eye colour. A think black line makes my eyes pop, a nice silver makes my eyes super icy and my eyes feel like they disappear if I don't wear black mascara. But that's just me

It's a little harder with blue eyes. Yes the neutrals look beautiful but when it comes to shadow colour it truly depends on what colour of blue you've got. Darker blues will look absolutely gorgeous with some shimmery golds and greys. Lights are gonna pop with something a little darker like thick black liner and chocolate browns to make the iciness of your eyes come out. Think colour wheel :)

Red lippy always makes my blue eyes pop!!
