1

Cat Eye

The cat eye eyeliner trick is of course one of the most common tricks out there, but it's also cute and unique too. You can spice it up by adding a sharper curve or even doing some color around it. Personally, the cat eye is one of my favorite eyeliner tricks in the book and one that I use all of the time!

UPD:

To master the cat eye, you'll want to start with drawing a thin line from the inner corner of your eye to the outer edge. Then create a flick that angles towards the end of your eyebrow for that perfect wing. If you want an extra touch of glam, opt for a liquid eyeliner with a fine tip for precision. Remember, practice makes perfect, and using a piece of tape as a guide can help achieve symmetrical wings on both eyes. Feel free to experiment with different lengths and thicknesses to find the look that best accentuates your eye shape.

2

Go with Colors

Eyeliner doesn't always have to be black or brown, in fact, you could even get a little crazy and go with purple, blue or pink! One eyeliner trick that I love to do is pair my eyeshadow with my colored eyeliner and my colored mascara to really make my eyes stand out and be different! Try it ladies!

3

Drop Eye

You might not know exactly what a 'dropped eyeliner trick' is, but it's actually when you apply liner to half of your bottom lid. It's almost as if you are dropping the line off after halfway lining it. It's pretty, super stylish and looks great ladies!

4

Thick Lines

Another eyeliner trick that I love to do is thick, thick lines. Whether you are doing a cat eye or winged eyeliner, thick lines are very in right now! Plus, they can really make your lashes look that much thicker and fuller!

5

Egyptian Eyeliner

We all know that Lady Gaga is known for her wild and crazy makeup and this eyeliner trick she pulled in the Judas video was beautiful! It was unique, different and totally one of the freshest eyeliner tricks that I've ever seen!

6

Smudged

If you are looking for an easy way to spice up your eyeliner, smudging it will do it! Just a quick little smudge to the outer edges or even to the bottom can really make all of the difference in the world on how beautiful your eyes look!

7

Open Wings

Now, this is a little more difficult to do than standard winged liner, but it's so worth it! Open winged liner actually has a little opening at the end of the wing, giving the impression that the eyeliner is not connected. Give it a try ladies and let me know how you like it!

8

Winged

The winged eyeliner trick is all about the wing and all about the liner around your eyes. Winged liner is much different from the cat eye, as you don't do the bottom lid with cat eyes, it's all about the top. With winged liner, it's about the bottom and the top. Which is your favorite?

9

Creative Wings

The great thing about eyeliner tricks is that you can experiment and you can get creative. That's what this look is all about! Looking to add your eyeliner to your brow? What about just causing your eyeliner to feed back into your crease? Try any and everything you want!

10

Thin Line

Finally, the last eyeliner trick that we are going to talk about is the thin line. This is by far the one that I use the most, but it's also a great liner to keep it subtle and teasing. This look can be used for date night, the office or anytime at all!

11

White Eyeliner

If you are looking for a way to make your eyes appear bigger, brighter and more awake, grab a white eyeliner! This small addition to your make up collection can really spice up your look. Wearing eyeliner on your bottom waterline can make your eyes appear farther apart, therefore creating the illusion of awake eyes. Not only that but you can also add white eyeliner to the corners of your eyes to make them appear wide and accentuated.

12

Top off with Eye Shadow

Nobody wants to end up with raccoon eyes after a long day, so to avoid smudging and running of the eyeliner you can actually lock it in with your plain eyeshadow. Just grab an angled brush, dip it in a matching eyeshadow color and press it against the lid to slowly coat the lined areas with a layer of powdered pigment.

13

Put Concealer to Use

If you want your cat eye to appear sharper and more defined you can always outline the smudged edges with your concealer. This will make your eyeliner a lot sharper and clear, giving your whole look more of a put-together appearance!

14

Use Tape

Another way to achieve sharp edges and make sure that the eyeliner is even on both sides is by using tape as a stencil. You just need to tape two pieces of scotch tape near your eyes at a preferred angle and proceed with the the eyeliner application. This technique can help even amateurs to achieve a flawless look!

15

Freeze Your Eyeliner

We all know how inconvenient, irritating and impractical old eye liners can be. They always tend crumble and smudge, but not to worry because there is a quick fix to this problem. Just place your eyeliner into the freezer 15 minutes before use so that the tip becomes more firm. Next things you know it glides on smoothly like butter and there is no need to go on a hunt for another eyeliner!

16

Tight-line Your Eyes

One of the most important tricks when it comes to applying eyeliner is tight-lining your eyes. Forgetting to apply eyeliner to the top lash line can often result in an unfinished look due to gaps of skin picking out. In addition you can enhance your eyes in a subtle way just by tight-lining your eyes and giving the illusion of voluminous eyelashes!

17

Go Softer and More Natural

Don't get me wrong black eyeliner is a classic that suits everyone but sometimes it can appear a bit harsh and unnatural, which is why a brown eyeliner is a great alternative. Brown eyeliner can look a lot softer and natural giving you more of a sweet and innocent appearance!

See ladies, there are just a few eyeliner tricks that you can mix and match with everyday! What are some of your favorite eyeliner tricks ladies? Share 'em!
