7 Premium Makeup Products from L'Oreal Paris ...

Tracy

Through the years, I’ve found some great cosmetics in the drugstore, and I’ve always looked to makeup products from L’Oreal as being just that much better than the rest. Even if you tend to favor high-end lines, if you try makeup products from L’Oreal, I think you’d be convinced that you could add a few of them to your routine and save some money in the process.

Visible Lift Color Lift Blush

Visible Lift Color Lift Blush Isn’t this beautiful? These cream-to-powder blushes may look like sparkle city, but on your face, it’s just a gorgeous sun kissed glow. Apply with fingertips or your favorite blush brush, and the color is buildable. The color names are indicative of their appearance: Pink Lift; Nude Lift; Peach Gold Lift; Berry Lift; Coral Lift, and my favorite pictured above; Rose Gold Lift. Makeup products from L’Oreal are by the same company (different division) that produces Lancôme!

2

Voluminous Waterproof Mascara

Voluminous Waterproof Mascara L’Oreal could add a new mascara every month (and I think they do!), and I’d still pick this one. Waterproof mascara will help to hold a curl better and prevent under eye smudging. All mascara benefits from the use of an eyelash curler. Starting at the base of your lashes, squeeze the curler for up to 5 seconds. Do the same as you work up your lashes about two more times.

HiP Studio Secret Professional Concentrated Shadow Duos

HiP Studio Secret Professional Concentrated Shadow Duos After your eyelids are primed, grab your favorite eye shadow brushes and have fun with these moderate intensity pigment shadows. Well, L’Oreal says these are highly pigmented, but the important thing is they are buildable, so go ahead and create the intensity you’re comfortable with.

4

Colour Riche Lipstick

Colour Riche Lipstick With over 40 gorgeous shades to choose from, the intensely rich, hydrating formula of Colour Riche lipstick is a great choice for a drugstore lip color. Now, I have to say something about the smell. This lipstick is heavily fragranced and it will turn some people off; others might enjoy it, and others still will barely notice it. I notice it and I think it’s kind of fitting. It certainly doesn’t bother me.

5

True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17 You’ll probably be able to find a nice match to your skin tone from among 33 shades, with 17 of those containing SPF. It offers a light to medium coverage that is buildable and blends well. For optimal results, try it with your favorite primer underneath and apply with your favorite foundation brush or Beauty Blender sponge.

True Match Powder

True Match Powder A truly nice drugstore powder and perfect for application with a powder brush directly over the True Match foundation for a flawless finished look. The sponge applicator that’s included is handy for touch-ups when a brush is unavailable.

7

Colour Riche Nail

Colour Riche Nail With over 40 shades, you’re sure to find a color that pleases. The polish pictured is Club Prive, and for some reason I don’t see it in their current list of colors. However, this is such a beautiful summer color (faded aqua), if you can’t find it locally, you should be able to score a bottle online at Amazon. It’s worth the effort!

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I've never seen a L'oreal lipstick costing $15

yes I use their lipsticks all the time. and some nail polish. love the lipsticks. true to color.

I am in Sydney Australia and always go shopping for make up and have never seen the blush listed and some of the other new make up at any of the stores, like Target, department stores, drugstores etc. .. why is this?

most of my makeup is L'oreal. I have their visible lift foundation, blush, mascara and nail polish. all see excellent and I get everything at CVS where they offer $5.00 in extra bucks back when you purchase $15.00 worth of L'oreal products. I think it's a nice savings.

Premium and L'oreal now there's an oxymoron. Owned by Golden, same owners as Lancome, watch what happens with Lancome's products, and wham 6 months later budget priced version out by L'Oreal or Garnier (also same company).

I agree Korean has some true blue great beauty products that just make u shine👼😘😘👯

@Sarah. the Target here is notorious for having empty displays! I have better luck at Walgreens.

considering that L'oreal is charging $35 for a foundation in Australia I honestly don't think I'm ever going to buy anything from them. I'd rather pay the extra $6 and get Illamasqua skin base.

yes their products are fabulous ! is that blusher available in the uk ? .. gotta have it !

L'oreal is heading into Physician's Formula territory of over-priced. Case in point: their lipsticks. Sure, they're nice and have lots of shades to choose from, but they cost $15, while the Maybelline Vivids and Rimmel Kate Moss matte lipsticks cost $10 and perform at least as well (I would say better, but it depends on one's taste). The one thing I will always grab from L'oreal are the Infallible shadows, which are supposed to be a perfect dupe for Armani eye shadows and perform fantastically. As for everything else...I think L'oreal is pricing themselves out of their market.
