1 Primer
First things first for an au naturel look and that's a primer! A primer, usually applied on a clean, dry face, is applied before applying makeup. The purpose of a primer is to prevent fading or creasing of makeup. Plus, a primer helps colours stay true to what you see in the palette/bottle, thus making primer necessary for makeup application.

2 Tinted Moisturizer
Foundation can be heavy and it can be a challenge to find a colour to match that of your skin. An alternative is tinted moisturizer. Many tinted moisturizers are lighter than liquid or powder foundation but provide similar coverage. However, if tinted moisturizers don’t provide enough coverage, then a few dabs of concealer in areas that need it will help to hide problem areas.
3 Setting Powder
A light setting powder will help to keep your makeup in place. Plus, a translucent setting powder will help to give your tinted moisturizer, or whatever liquid foundation you use, a more flawless, airbrushed look. Setting powders can also come with a hint of shimmer if you want the appearance of a glowing complexion.
4 Bronzer
A light sweep of bronzer can go a long way. Not only does bronzer add colour to your face but it helps to give you a glowing appearance. Plus, bronzer can help to define your cheekbones and jaw lines. However, for a natural day time look a quick sweep of bronzer on your cheekbones is more than enough.
5 Mascara
For an all natural look, a few coats of mascara will do. Many women like to opt out of using mascara during the day because they can't rub their eyes or be too fussy around the eye area without smudging their mascara. However, I highly recommend applying a few coats of mascara because mascara is a great way to bring attention to your eyes. As well, mascara can make your eyes look bigger and more alert.
6 Brow Powder
Thick, untamed eyebrows are a trend amongst young Hollywood because they look more youthful and natural. Unfortunately, many of us can't pull off an untamed eyebrow look without looking messy or un-groomed. A great alternative is to fill in your eyebrows with a powder (if you have full eyebrows that need a bit of touch up) or a brow pencil/crème (for sparse eyebrows). Although filling in your eyebrows seems like it's taking a step away from a natural look, you'll find your eyebrows will look fuller and neater once filled in.
7 Tinted Lip Balm
Tinted lip balm is the perfect way to finish up your au naturel makeup look. Not as bold as lipstick or as sticky as lip gloss, tinted lip balm is the best of both worlds. Not only will your lips be hydrated throughout the day but you won't have to sacrifice a coloured lip for the sake of a balm.
