This is the Best Foundation Routine to Cover Acne Scars ...

By Sheila

My teen years were not pretty to say the least. I'm 30 now and I still get a couple of pimples every now and then. Acne is frustrating and it can totally destroy your self-confidence, right? But, thanks to Cassandra Bankson's amazing foundation routine video, there's hope. This video truly proves the power of makeup!

So, here are the steps once again.

1. A Little Something for Your Oily Spots

Cassandra uses the Smashbox Anti-shine to control the oil secretion on her nose and T-zone area.

2. Use a Primer

Primers are very important to get a clean makeup look. While she opts for the Hourglass Veil Primer, you can choose any primer that works for you.

3. Moving on to Foundation

You'll need something with really good coverage! Cassandra uses the Makeup For Ever HD Foundation in 125 and 120 and uses her fingers to blend it on her face.

4. Follow That up with a Concealer

Use a concealer like the Mac Studio Finish Concealer NC 30 mainly on your problem areas.

"Enhancing your beauty doesn't always mean going for the glossy look. More ladies now see the allure of a shine-free finish. With the right tools and techniques, you can also achieve a flawless, subtle glow. Learn how to master this trend by following these incredible matte makeup tutorials. Enhance your natural complexion without the unnecessary flash."

5. Set It with Powder

Cassandra uses a combination of a lighter powder like the Mac NC5 in the centre of her face and follows that up with the Smashbox Halo in Light on the outside of her face and finally tops it with the Makeup Forever Microfinish Setting Powder.

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

Thank you for sharing! My face went through years on unsightly acne and now that it's gone it left some deep scars behind that are even more noticeable the more makeup I apply. Looking for a solution to that!

She has done an excellent job here. You are beautiful and so much talented pretty girl. Keep up the good work ❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻

This is such an amazing and brave video! I've learned a lot and will definitely check out her other vids :)

I just hope all these things at once won't make acne prone skin worse.
