With all of the major makeup lines releasing their fall collections, there are so many beautiful eye shadows to wear this autumn. The right eye shadow can amp up any outfit or look. My favorite eye shadows to wear this autumn are as magical as the season itself.
1 NARS – Kamchatka
NARS is one of my favorite makeup lines and their Fall 2013 collection has several gorgeous eye shadows to wear this autumn. My favorite one is Kamchatka, a gorgeous navy color. The matte finish of this shade is perfect for creating a nontraditional navy smokey eye. Kamchatka is formulated to not crease, which makes it a great choice for shading and lining. Some eye shadows that are full of pigment don’t blend well, but this is not the case with Kamchatka. Apply this velvety shade with a dampened brush to bring on the drama.
The Constellation Palettes from Dior are formulated to give your eyes a metallic sheen this autumn. There are two different sets in this collection, one with violet and silver shine and the other with captivating blue, green, and brown. The eye shadows glide on effortlessly for an enchanting fall look. The eye shadows themselves are adorned with stars and each palette includes two double-sided applicators.
3 Chanel – Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow in Mystère
This limited edition eye shadow palette for fall by Chanel comes with four gorgeous hues. Each shade has a different level of shimmer (including 1 matte eye shadow), so you can create your own versatile look. It’s perfect for achieving a beautiful fall smokey eye. This palette is great for shading and highlighting, but also is amazing standing alone. Chanel includes two applicators with this set as well. This is one of my favorite fall makeup palettes of the year.
4 Stila – Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow
Out of all the eye shadows for fall, the Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow by Stila is what I’m most excited about. This revolutionary product has a foil finish that is buildable for an intense makeup look straight off the runway. This eye shadow also comes with an innovative liquid eye shadow primer to ensure you’re makeup will last. Stila has formulated this product in several colors so you’re guaranteed to find the perfect autumn hue.
5 Laura Mercier – Satin Matte Eye Colour in Dark Spirit
Laura Mercier is known for having some of the best quality eye shadows on the market, and her collection for fall 2013 meets these expectations. I am absolutely in love with Dark Spirit. This gorgeous black goes on creamy but provides a matte finish. It’s highly pigmented so a little goes a long ways and it is guaranteed to last. This eye shadow won’t look greasy but will still add definition and drama.
6 Bobbi Brown – Sparkle Eye Shadow
Glitter is in! That’s my mantra, anyway. If you’re like me and can’t seem to get enough of all things sparkly, you will absolutely love the Sparkle Eye Shadows by Bobbi Brown. This collection started out as a limited edition product, but the fans couldn’t get enough so Bobbi Brown finally made it a staple. There are so many gorgeous colors in this line that you will want them all to accompany your autumn wardrobe.
The Loose Colour Concentrate line by OCC is so much more than just your basic eye shadow. These highly pigmented powders can be used on your eyes, lips, and face. With over 30 colors in the collection, there are so many options for your fall makeup bag. Personally I’m a fan of the electric blues, intense purples, and shocking pinks, but there are subtler colors in this line as well. No matter how bold or basic you decide to go, I can guarantee you will fall in love with these long-wearing color pigments!
