Chibi, as a muslim women I don't appreciate your comment. The hijab is actually the opposite of oppression. It is to show that women are not an object for men and to show modesty. You should really get educated on something before you post!

I'm originally from Iraq and don't wear a headscarf. I thought that women wear a headscarf to cover up their beauty for men, so they don't get attention from them. Heavy make-up, duckfaces, heals, plastic surgery and matching headscarfes are bringing more attention from men than your hair. I see girls with super tight clothes wearing a headscarfe. Men are looking more at your body or face than at your hair. I think it's more a symbool of a muslim women. I mean I don't think the meaning of a headscarf is to look hot and pretty, I don't understand

The thing is, you can't really say whether a woman should or should not wear makeup while wearing a hijab. Women wear the hijab for all different reasons, whether it be to celebrate their religion, or because they do not want to be seen as a sex object for men, for family tradition etc. etc. it really comes down to what each woman feels about the hijab.

I dont think theres anything wrong with putting makup on it just shouldnt b too dramatic.
