1. Lisa Eldridge

For me, the best of the YouTube makeup gurus is Lisa Eldridge. A common fear that I have when watching a video is that the person doesn't know what they're talking about. But a quick scan of Lisa's website shows that she's done the makeup of huge celebrities like Emma Watson and Billie Piper so you know she's the real deal. I also just love her personality, as she's very sweet, as well as extremely helpful in her explanations. I've learned so much from watching her videos.

2. Lauren Luke

Lauren is another guru whose videos I watch religiously. She's so quirky, so her videos are always entertaining, but she also does some amazing looks. She does a lot of celebrity look tutorials which is how I found her in the first place. My favorite of her videos are the "Makeup Lucky Dips," where she just reaches into her piles of makeup, grabs things, and builds a look around whatever she grabs.

3. Beauty and the Boutique

Katie, the guru, has a great channel full of tons of tips and tricks to enhance your makeup. It's not so much about tutorials for certain looks, but more videos showing you how to do your mascara a certain way, or your lipstick. A lot of these tips are really easy, and I've implemented them in my own makeup routine. They work really well, and I know they'll help you too, so go check out her channel!

4. VintageorTacky

This is a makeup guru for those with more 'out there' makeup tastes, I guess. If you're a girl that's confident walking down the street with neon colors and lots of glitter then Cora is the guru for you! With her pink and purple hair and penchant for bright colors, Cora creates some seriously gorgeous looks! I just wish I was brave enough to wear some of these myself!

Chloe is a very 'hip' guru, keeping up with trends and doing some great tutorials for younger women. That's not to say that anyone can't enjoy her videos, because you can, no matter your age! But her looks are bold eyeliners and bright colors, so I'd recommend them for women looking for sexy daytime looks.

Carli Bybel is a very strikingly beautiful girl, with olive skin and dark hair, so if you have a darker complexion, her tutorials will be amazing for you. Her looks are sexy and chic, and very modern.

Talia is a young girl with cancer who also loves makeup and does tutorials, and let me say she is AMAZING at it. I mean it, she's really good. I think a lot of people go onto the channel because of the fact that she has cancer, but everyone stays because of her talent. She's done some great looks, so give her channel a go!
