1. Eye Makeup Comes First

Before you put on your foundation or concealer, you should do all of your eye makeup. If you make a mistake, then you'd going to have to wipe your face clean, which means you'd end up messing up your concealer. That's why your eyes should always come first.
2. Use Tape for Cat Eyes

It's difficult to create the perfect wing with your eyeliner. That's why you should place a piece of tape on the outer corner of your eyes beforehand. Then you can apply your liner and shadow to create a sharp edge.
3. Replace Eye Shadows with Contour Powders

You don't have to use every beauty product the way that it's advertised. You can actually use contour powders as eye shadows, and they do an excellent job!

6. Replace Contour Products with Foundation

If you want to contour your face, but don't have the right products, you can use foundation instead. Of course, you should make sure that the foundation is a shade darker than your actual foundation in order for the trick to work.
7. Blend Your Lines

When you blend your contour lines, make sure that you use a brush that's been dipped in a cream bronzer. That way, your face will end up looking tanner than it actually is.

WinterRaine: Bit of concealer first, then eyes, then primer, proper concealer and mineral powder foundation... I look like a tired skeleton, concealer is necessity of people not looking at you like a vampire.
Rebecca: How do people do their eyes first?? If I try to put foundation on after I do my eyeliner and mascara, it gets everywhere.

Jackie: I agree with some of the girls. It's hard to do your eyes 1st! Foundation makes a great base for eyeshadows to stick...1st a primer, wait 2 minutes, then foundation, wait a min, set w/a translucent powder , then start on eyes.
Wendy: Yes, applying eye makeup first is really helpful then proceed with the rest of the makeup application. I also find tape makes it easy applying eye shadow and liner gives precision, I love it!! For contour, I'm loving the anastasia contour palette, it's wonderful!!!
RebeccaCocstello: Bronzer is also a really good idea too, if you have a fair complexion and skin tone use blush this is also a really good tip to you your more on the olive skin tone then when you want to wear Red lipstick apply bronzer rather then blush... Or you can do both first the blush then the bronzer..😀💄 #Randomfact

Taylor: The only reason they suggest eyes first is if your using eyeshadows that may have a lot of fallout which will ruin your under eye concealer. I sometimes do my eyeshadow first (using an eye primer), the face products, then mascara. Also if you want sharp eyeshadow lines(like a wing), use a small angled brush to line around it
