7 Makeup Primers That Minimize Pores and Make You Look Younger ...

If you've been looking for makeup primers that minimize pores and provide you with a more youthful appearance, I've found 7 great primers for you to check out. Like many other women with naturally oily skin, I have large pores. My favorite thing about using a primer is that it prevents my makeup from looking like it has been caked on. See if you're currently using any of these great makeup primers that minimize pores.

What's your signature makeup look for work?

1. L'Oreal, Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base Primer

L'Oreal, Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base Primer After reading reviews, I decided to purchase this primer. When I first saw it I was a little hesitant to buy it because the container is very small. In fact, it only contains .5 ounces. Even though I was hesitant, I went ahead and purchased it and I'm so glad that I did. This primer went on easy and helped my makeup look great. If you're looking for an inexpensive primer that gets the job done, this one of the best makeup primers that minimize pores around.

2. Benefit Cosmetics the POREfessional

Benefit Cosmetics the POREfessional Technically this is a balm, not a primer, but its so amazing that I had to add it to this list. You can use this product under your foundation or alone for a boost of Vitamin E. My favorite thing about this primer is that you can reapply it to your face, even after you've put makeup on. It is also oil free and works great with all skin tones. If you decide to try Benefits it will cost you around $30, but its worth every dime.

3. DR. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner

DR. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner I was sold on this primer as soon as I read the name. Dr. Brandt Pores No More, is one of the pricier primers on this list at $45, but it's worth the splurge. This primer does not completely make your pores invisible, but it comes close. It also does an amazing job controlling shine for hours. When using this primer, remember to apply it lightly because a little bit goes a long way. Be sure to smell this primer before you buy it because it sort of smells like a medicated ointment.

4. Mary Kay Foundation Primer

Mary Kay Foundation Primer I have been using Mary Kay products for a few years, and have only found few items that I didn't really like. I started using Mary Kay's Foundation Primer several months ago and it really does a great job. When I apply this primer, my face feels very smooth and soft. The only negative that I've found about this primer is that it does have an odd smell, but it does go away after awhile. As an added bonus, this primer also has SPF 15 for added sun protection. This primer is only $16 and definitely worth trying.

5. CLINIQUE Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector

CLINIQUE Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Clinique products. Clinique's Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector is a great product that works instantly. This is one recommended for all ages and it works great with all skin types. While it won't completely make your pores disappear, they will be diminished by about 50%. You can pick up this product for $21. This product dries quickly and is available in three different shades to easily match your natural skin tone.

6. Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer

Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer If you're looking for another drug store primer to try, consider Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer. At only $12 its definitely a great deal. Unlike some primers that leave your face feeling greasy, this one will leave you with a smooth finish. I have freckles and this primer does a great job diminishing their appearance. It can also be used on no makeup days to make your skin brighter.

7. E.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer

E.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer If you are looking for a cheaper primer that works, try e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer. This primer is great if you're looking for a multipurpose product. You can use it to reduce the size of pores and minimize fine lines. Many women also find that it also helps to even out their skin tone. After using this primer, your skin will have a gorgeous satin finish. This primer is the cheapest on my list and can be purchased for only $6.

I am always looking for new products to add to my routine. Do you have any primers that you would like to recommend to me? I can't wait to hear your recommendations.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer is the best on the market, IMO.

I recommend the Make up forever hd microperfecting primer in neutral, not a fan of the colour correcting ones but the neutral one is my favourite primer by far

Hourglass mineral veil!! Best primer hands down. Been using it for years and never bought anything else! It is pretty pricy at $52 I believe ($52-$55) but it's just magic in a bottle. It's free of paraben, and lots of other chemicals. It lasts 7-8 months for me! You only need a little and it's amazing!

The vegan company Arbonne has a great primer!
